Wellness Care at Our Animal Veterinary Clinic
Keeps Pets Healthy and Active

At our Warren veterinary clinic, we believe that proactive wellness care is the best way to keep pets healthy and active for life. We recommend annual wellness exams for This exam includes a full physical, diagnostic blood work, and a fecal exam to test for parasites. Since our pets cannot verbally tell us when they are sick, wellness exams help us identify potential problems before an illness significantly affects your pet's health. During our wellness exam we will also confirm that your pet is up to date on all necessary vaccinations. Many vaccines require annual boosters to remain effective. The veterinary clinic also provides health certificates and ID microchipping. Our veterinary team is committed to ensuring that your pet's health and well being is always protected!

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite features radiographs for precise diagnosis. Whenever possible, we choose minimally invasive procedures. Whether our skilled doctors are performing a spay or neuter operation or advanced surgical procedure, nothing is more important than the safety of your pet. We conduct diagnostic blood work prior to the administration of any anesthesia. During and immediately following an operation, we will closely monitor your pet's vital signs. When our doctor determines that your pet is ready to return home, we will discuss in careful detail and medication or at-home care. We recognize that any operation, no matter how routine, can be a stressful experience for both pets and their owners. Our goal at the veterinary clinic to make your pet's care as easy and safe as possible. The veterinary clinic offers exploratory surgery, abdominal operations, declawing, orthopedic operations, and ear flushing.

Even with proactive wellness care, emergencies happen. In the event of a health problem, our animal clinic provides both urgent care and emergency veterinary services. For an urgent health visit, our veterinarian will squeeze you in between regularly scheduled appointments. For a serious veterinary emergency, such as chocolate poisoning or a traumatic injury, simply call us and we will have our vet team ready to assist your pet upon arrival. Round-the-clock monitoring is available at our affiliate 24-hr emergency vet hospital.

At Abbey East Animal Hospital, we offer a vaccine clinic every Thursday from 3 pm to 5 pm for healthy pets 1 year of age or older. We do not take appointments for the vaccine clinic, it is on a walk-in basis. During the vaccine clinic, we waive the pet exam fee and pet owners only pay for the vaccinations and any other services needed for the pet.
